Buying beef from a small farm shouldn't be complicated. Here's the whole process, start to finish.
Place the order
Fill out the order form — name, contact info, and whether you want a half, a whole, or a custom request. Chad will reply within 1–2 business days to confirm availability and pricing.
Pick up at Hoffman's
Every Fat Cow Farm animal is processed and packaged at Hoffman's Meats in Cardington, Ohio. Once your order is ready, we'll let you know when and where to pick it up.
Enjoy.
That's the whole point, really. Fill the freezer, fire up the grill, and enjoy beef raised the right way.

How do I pay?
Cash or check at pickup. We do not accept credit cards at this time.
How much does a half or whole cow cost?
All beef is billed at $4 per pound of packaged weight. Your final total is calculated at pickup based on what the butcher weighs.
Where do I pick up my order?
At Hoffman's Meats in Cardington, Ohio. Cardington is in Morrow County, an easy drive north of Columbus — roughly 45 minutes from most of Central Ohio.
How long does it take to get my order?
Timing depends on the butcher's schedule and where your animal is in the finishing process. Chad will give you a confirmed pickup window when he replies to your order.
Can I choose specific cuts?
Yes — use the custom request option and describe what you'd like. For half or whole cows, the butcher can also work off a cut sheet.
Do you deliver?
Not currently. All orders are picked up at Hoffman's in Cardington.
